Another problem....Uhhhh
I just found out from my family Doctor that my B1 is low. Dr. Jeff wanted this checked too. So I'm calling Dr. Jeff this morning, they open at 10 am.
So what does this mean?
Man I'm having a bad week, first my Iron is low, then all these problems with eating and getting sick feeling, now this....Uhhh.
Any info appreciated. Thanks, Kelly
Again, no experience with this here, but I'm sure that when ANY of our levels are out of whack, it can have a significant effect on how we feel. Just keep plugging away, Kelly - every little thing you can straighten out will help you in the long run! (Was that B1, or B12?)
Imperfect does not = unsuccessful
Marsha,
I'm calling there in a few minutes.
I looked up low B1 (thiamine) levels on webmd. Wow, that is an eye opener, It said, B1 helps your body to use carbohydrates for energy. It is also important for normal function of your Heart, muscles, and nervous system. B1 deficiency is from, alcoholism, poor nutrition, pregnancy, stomach/intestinal diseases.
I don't drink, I'm not pregnant....... Can't wait to hear what Baker say's.
Kelly
Angela, You could be right. I've never been able to drink 64 oz. of water, Usually about 40-50 oz. But I keep trying for more everyday.
Dr. Baker is in surgery today, so I won't hear from him till this evening. I told the receptionist that if I'm not home that he can talk to my hubby, as I have my St. Cloud support group tonight from 6-8 pm. Thanks for the support. Kelly
