very upset, frustrated, confused, Help
This is a continuation of my post yesterday on, "Can eat one day but not the next." One day I can eat and the next I take one bite and feel sick to my stomach, red in the face, and feel like it didn't go down. It can be the same food I ate the day before with no problems. Even eating some Bananna makes me feel this way. It's not that I'm not chewing enough......... My Dr. called, finally..... I'm so frustrated, because I'm asking the professional (My Doctor) what's going on and he has no answer's. So now what????? You'd think he'd have some kind of advice. This is so frustrating. I just needed to vent and knew I could on here.

Oh Sweetie~
I'm so sorry that you're having problems. You're still a 'baby' in the WLS-world. Maybe you should try going back on liquids or at least pureed foods for a few days? This is the only thing I can think of that might help your tummy. Maybe you have the dreaded 'grouchy pouchie'.
I was blessed with few problems, so I can't really give you much help.
I hope things get better for you soon.

I would be bugging your doctor for an appt, and a scope-sounds like it COULD be a stricture, or that your stoma is just too small. don't let them ignore you-one of the things you have to learn as a bariatric patient is that you must be in charge and proactive with your health. Can you drink? make sure you are drinking enough so you don't get dehydrated. good luck-keep fighting!

Lynn,
Thanks for posting also. What is a Stricture?
I'm going to start writting everything down again that I eat & drink for 1 week, If the problem continues I will be calling Dr. Baker back. I don't like un answered questions reguarding my health.
Yes, I can drink with no problems. Actually I've been drinking more hot tea, it seems to settle my tummy.
a stricture is when your stomach opening is too small/too swollen to let food pass into your pouch-because of scar tissue. Angela had just a very small opening, not a stricture, she says. either one can cause you to not be able to keep any food down. if warm beverages help-keep sippin 'em! do call your doctor again if you don't get better soon.
hugs-

I am sorry to hear you are having problems. I have problems with pork, bannana, scrambled eggs, chicken. But when I have problems it is consistant, not problem one day and not the next. I am not that far out, so I am thinking it will get better. I am sorry you are having problems and I wish your doctor could have helped you. I wish I could be of help.
