Hey all, some of you have been woundering where I've been this week.  I thought it was a good time for me to come back out and play.  You see I hit a wall/bump in the road this week.  The head hunger really got to me emotionally.  i went out to eat with my family on Tue. before my DW went to mexico with her girlfriends I ordered a grilled chicken breast and ate about 1/4 of it.  The thing that sparked this whole episode was remembering all the things i could eat or drink pre-op.  It really made me long for those items.  Was I hungry no.  But jus****ching people busted my chopps this week.  I'm doing better but I know know that even when you are doing as well as I see myself doing you still come in contact with challenges that can throw you for a loop.  If i didn't respond to your post it's because when i do, I respond from the heart and since my heart just wasn't into it this week I didn't want to reply to a post half heartedly.  I love this board and the people that take the time to care about one another and make people feel more comfortable about this journey. Thanks for listening Troy

Thank you for sharing this Troy.  It helps us all learn what may happen in this journey we are all in together!  I wonder if this gets easier as time goes on?????   All I can tell you is as an eater before surgery, I feel so horrible and uncomfortable after I eat,  it just bites!  Thanks for being you and I love your honesty!

Troy, Thanks for sharing Troy. This journey were all on is one big challenge. I find myself thinking back to certain foods I ate or watching my hubby eat. Then I think, nope I'll be sicker than a dog if I try to eat it.

Awwwwwwwwwww Its normal... your coming off the initial high and mental strength and although you still are on the move you felt left out. Know your normal..( ahem :)  )  and this is one of MANY struggles.. Go ahead take the time to pout.... step back and regroup.  Get those old pics and have a walk down memory lane. Remember those little words that motivate you.  "You will never make a commitment to this" or somthing to that sort.   Your options of food will open up... and all those people that were grubbing were stuffed and felt like fat pigs later.  giggle We are here for you... come over to Black Sheep tonight at five... its just over in SSP. Remember.. put yourself first. Hugs t pimp'ster

Thanks Linda, you remembered my call name:)  It's been one of those weeks for regrouping.  I took the walk down memeory lane about 5 times this week.  I also stepped up my workout intensity.  I wish i could pop over to the black sheep tonight but my daughter has a swim meet in Richfield from 5-8pm tonight.  I'm hoping to make coffee on Sat for a short time.  Since DW is in mexico I guess I have to be a parent and not put me first for a couple more days. Thanks for sharing -- it's kinda a bummer when the "honeymoon" is over isn't it???  I hit that wall in January with horrible carb cravings!!!!  But I kept stepping back and remembering where I wanted to go and it was better.  Until this week and the stress at work is making my head nuts!!!!  I've been drinking milk and it helps.  But this is one of the many hurdles -- and they suck!!!! XXOO
