Weird question for women
What did you guys do for bras and undies post-op? Mainly the bras really...do your boobies shrink pretty steady with your weight or do they kinda go in spurts? I know...weird. Just want to know what I'm going to be spending on *in between* stuff. Ya' know, the things you can't buy at a garage sale or thrift store. (At least I'M not wearing someone else's skivies!)

That's pretty much it.....I lost from the top down (even though I grew from the bottom up) so my bra sizes go down like the pants sizes. I've went from a 46DD to a 36B in 4 months. And buying bras to raise the little puppies just flattens them straight out or makes a uni-boob!!! I'm hoping people bring in-shape bras to Swapkins in May -- I know I have a few of them.....
Undies -- I bought one size down from what I needed so they'd last longer but like pants, they get baggy looking.

Ok...I luckily had breast reduction six years ago..so mine are very high and perky..but FLAT.
I found during weightloss Walgreens sells hanes her way bras for nine'ish that helped and are really nice.
I now...due to going from a full D cup to an A cup I buy the padded gel bras from Target ( two hooks thank you very much! )
From what I hear they look very natural.
Panties? My booty has yet to find the right one...I have tried many and need to find ones that dont ride due to the fact I am saggy butt.
I think a snug pair O boy shorts will work best..thats my next try.

Like Linda I had a reduction prior to WLS. So mine are "perky but flat"...But I shop at the hanes outlet and get my stuff there. They will measure you too. Then as you are shrinking, you can make sure you are getting the right size. Undies....I still get the cheapies at walmart. I really gotta do something about that.
I like the one I heard at Eagan coffee last week.... they are a pair of sweat socks with an orange in the toe!!!!! I went from a 46DD, and the last one I bought was 40C's... guess what...........they are to big.... I hate the idea of going down to a B cup. I can never remember being a B cup in my life!!!!!! So I am guessing and hoping I am a 38 C... that respecatable right?!?!?! Good luck.

You are so smart to think of this ahead of time! Best advice is to buy push up's! Get measured when they shrink. And the undies, well there are reasonable ones everywhere. I perfer (at Walmart) Hanes' Scoop Back! They are soooooo comfy! Plus with jeans that are mid-rise to low-rise you don't have the undies playing peek a boo! I also, just bought from Bali's/Legg's and Hanes' Outlet here in North Branch and bought "Barely There"~ NICE!! BEST ADVICE: Ya shrink fast, buy a size tighter(like Barb said) and don't buy more then a weeks worth as you will fly thru the sizes!!!YAY!!!
