They finally got her port to work right so she can do her antibiotics at home. Just went and picked her up and took her home. Hopefully she and Nemi will have a good night with the bf Jason and Laurie can get to school tomorrow. Thank you all for the support and understanding. Karen, Laurie and Princess Nemi

Well, I have to post on this. I saw Laurie & Nemi tonight at the hospital! Nemi is adorable, Karen! She's very cute. Laurie was ready to go home, so I'm glad to hear everything is working out for her - hopefully the infection clears quickly with the antibiotics. Also, while I was there tonight, I caught a 30 second cameo of Barb J. / Nurse Barb. Barb looked good to me as she was up walking around, dressed, etc. but she said she had a rough day. I'll let her explain. I had gone to the hospital tonight to visit a friend who just had the DS surgery and is here from Texas. As I was talking to her, I saw Laurie & Nemi walk by. I just wanted to thank you, Karen, for posting about Laurie & Barb being in the hospital because had you not, I'm not sure I would have recognized Laurie & Nemi. It gave me the courage to go up to Laurie and say hello. Be well and continued healing to Laurie!

That is great news! Especially when you were thinking Monday. Now she will be home before the weekend and not miss her class that she was worried about. YIPPIE!!
