Can a person call the insurance company TOO MUCH?
I don't think you could ever bug them. Their job is customer service. I would call them, ask when a decision may be made. Wait until the day after that, then call again. Staying on top of things isn't bugging them. That is their job and that is what they are paid to do. I'd be cautious. Most people will be understanding and wouldn't purposely be malicious. Besides - I'm sure there are others out there who call twice a day.

Just an update:
I did call and they were so nice to me - and when I apologized (again) for calling (again) they laughed with me about it all and said they understand.
They said to wait until Monday and call again on Monday - NICE :)
Overall, I'm glad I called and so far, haven't had a bad conversation with anyone there!
For now, I wait until Monday :)
