Baby News!!! And tid bits of Aus.
My step-daughter called awhile ago to say she gave birth. We have another grandchild, a boy! We will stop on our way home from here to see the little peanut! 
They do not use the penny here the smallest denomination coin is 5 cents and looks like our dime. They have a 50 cent piece that's the size of a tree trunk! Ok, it's not that big but I bet they get alot of holes in their pockets. The word "badonkadonk" (sp) has made it across the pond and is being used in a Subway sandwich commercial. A Q-Tip is a cotton bud. A cantaloupe is a Rock Melon. My favorite store name so far is "Holy Sheet!" which sells linens, shower curtains, etc. I also like the "Reject Store" they take freight that was rejected and sell it real cheap.
We had lunch at the Observer Hotel in Sydney which is supposed to be haunted by a woman who was murdered there. You might be able to check it out at their website. I didn't look at it but here it is: www.observerhotel.com.au
I must still be thawing as they said on tv this is the 3rd coolest Feb they have on record. I thought it was cooler than I remember. It must be all the cool air I had stored in me. It rained this morning and again tonight. With the storms they had before we arrived their dams are now at 65% for the first time in forever, they are at last talking of relaxing the water restrictions. But the toilets will still have two buttons to flush with. You have a choice, a full flush or a half.
