Darla's BBQ Chicken is 'da Bomb!

Darla shared this a few days ago and I want to thank her for the suggestion because we had a great dinner tonight as well. The Sweet BBQ chicken in a bag from Cub was fantastic! I thought it was going to be covered in sauce, but it wasn't. It just had a nice BBQ flavor throughout the whole chicken. Everyone in the HH loved it so that will make my grocery list again for sure. I actually cooked it last night and put it in the fridge so we would have an easy dinner tonight and it was great reheated even! Thanks Darla!!

Sup Dawg.. Is there alot of sugar?  I hear BBQ sauce and think SUGAR...  

It wasn't sauce though. To me, it was more like a rub they used on it, or injected with flavor. I dunno. Maybe Darla has a better answer. It's in a bag, so it has a NUT label. Oh hey, plus you'd peel the skin off so you wouldn't be eating that part anyhow.

I didn't really look too closely at the label, but it was definitely NOT sweet, even tho it's called "Sweet BBQ!"  It was just da bomb!  In fact, I bought a couple more Saturday after coffee to put in the freezer.  2/$10!   Glad you liked it, Amy!  I sure was pleasantly surprised!!  And yeah, it was great reheated the next day for lunch, too! And if any of you have a Coborns near you, they have asparagus for $1.49/lb this week!  I LOVE ASPARAGUS!!!
