OT: Treatment is OVER!!!
Yippey Skippy!!! My thyroid cancer treatment is behind me!! Well, at least the radiation therapy part!! YAY!! I was diagnosed with Papillary cancer on Dec 12, had a total thyroidectomony on Dec 28th and have now successfully completed the Radiation Iodine therapy!! I'm still on the low iodine diet until my final scan on Thursday the 28th and then I'm back to eating the WLS way!!! I can't tell you how excited I am to get back to protein first and carbs and fillers LAST!! AND MILK!!! I'm going to drink a GALLON!!!! My therapy went very well, they diagnosed the cancer and removed it so quickly, that my radiation therapy was at the low end of the scale. I didn't get sick at all from it...just a little tired the next day but otherwise, I worked from home and had little, if no, side effects! (Biggest change in habits...I can't tolerate caffeine very well at all, but it could be a late of protein to offset it. I'll be back to Latte's on Friday the 29th!!)
Thank you everyone who has supported me with prayer, words of encouragement, and your friendship, while I stressed out and went through this. With you all as friends, we certainly never go through things alone!!

I'm so glad your finished now and will be on the road to recovery. There are few things I love more than hearing of cancer survivors. No matter what kind it's a wicked disease. I'm so thankfull that your going to be fine.
