Broken Record

I know I am going to sound like a broken record, and we have heard it so many times before. But now I know when it happend to each person they just gotta ask....

Huge stall. So...I am 2.5 months out. I have lost 46 wonderful pounds but now I am in a stall. Most people go through the "It happends to everyone" thought and the "maybe it won't work for me" thought. But I just want to throw it out there because it is a sinking feeling when I stall out for a few weeks. My brain tells me that it is just my body adjusting to the weightloss and then it will start dropping off me again. But my heart is saing "what if..."

Seems like I don't remember Connie D or Barb K. going through this.

Encouraging thoughts???

Thanks!

Absolutely - remember it's either inches or pounds?! And you know, it is all one is focusing on so hard to ignore, eh? You are NOT done yet, just keep doing what you're supposed to be doing and everything will work out just fine.

Ugh! I have said it myself a million times, but it is just so hard to get through!

Thanks for the encouraging words!

I know you probably heard this a million times too, but you are still losing inches even when the scale isn't moving. Just keep doing what your doing and the scale will come along with the rest. Keep your chin up! Good Luck!

I am down only one size, and I guess I thought it would be more. I am trying not to do the comparing thing, but dang...The waiting for results seems like it takes f-o-r-e-v-e-r!

Thanks for the words of wisdom!

I am going through the same thing!  At 2.5 months out I stopped losing weight.  I had lost 46 lbs and I stayed that way for a month.  I have lost 4 more but that is it.  I just have to believe that the scale will start moving again just like everyone else on here has gone through.  So I am holding at 50lbs gone but I have noticed that my clothes have gotten a lot bigger in the last month.  The workout clothes that I have are getting huge and they are larges!  I have to get mediums!!  I dont think I ever imagined I would say those words! LOL!   Keep your chin up!  It will happen.  Just remember that you have already lost 46 lbs, do you think you could have done that before surgery in 2.5 months?  You are doing so great!

I guess misery loves company! Glad to know others are in the same boat! I have been slacking on exercising- I just hate it. Guess it is time to step that up!

Thanks for sharing!

That is a good idea- Funny part is...i don't even know what they were. I guess I could call PNC and get that from them.

Thanks!

I would!   I got so frustrated during my big loss period due to not seeing pounds move, but my measurements kept on shrinking!
