New pics and some other stuff

I put some new pics up a little while ago and just added some from my Aunt's wedding on 2-2-08. When I first saw the pics from my aunt's wedding I shed tears!! I couldn't believe that's what I look like!!! WOW!!! I went grocery shopping with my mom today and portioned out a bunch of stuff for her, she wants to lose weight and feel better and I am trying to help her. She weighs about 15lbs more than me but carries it much differently. I hope her week goes well with the food we picked out and the portions I am giving her. I ran into an ex-friend's mom and sister at the grocery store, I was reaching something on the top shelf and his sister said "Alayna?" and we said hello and chatted for a moment and his mom was just kinda listening. Then in a few isles his mom came up to me and said "I didn't recognize you, I thought you were one of Danielle's friends from school or something, I want to give you a big hug." I think she had a RNY, she looks like it anyways, she looks great and she was always much larger. Her daughter in-law also had it, so it's quite possible she did too. I told her she looked great as she was walking away. Oh yeah, and my mom says the guy at the deli counter took a double take looking at me! LOL HA yeah right I said. I am loving Plentyoffish.com though! Thank you Tracy for letting us all know about that site! There are sooooo many people on there and I get some of the nicest messages. Can't wait to start going out on some dates with people from there.

Alayna, How fun for you - sounds like you've had a couple of great WOW moments!!!  You are looking so good - I can't even believe that you were ever heavy - your before pics are just so not you anymore - I'm so proud of you! Congrats on getting on the site - I hope you have some good luck!  I can't take the credit for it though - Linda Nichols is the one that told me about it and I couldn't be happier for it.  I hope you can find a great catch too!!! Alayna- you are looking awesome! I'm so proud of you. I wish you well with plentyoffish.com. I just joined a singles club called events and adventures. You can check it out at www.eventsandadventures.com. I have only gone to one event so far; but it was so much fun. I have a few events I plan to go to next month (including a Wilds hockey game). I can bring a guest free twice (the third time they'd have to join). If you ever want to be my guest let me know. Or if anyone else wants to be my guest let me know. The cost to join is $75.00 per month. Am I crazy to spend that much? Probably! But I have tried the internet thing and it just doesn't work for me. OMG yeah I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to go as a guest!!!! If at all possible that Wild game would be great LOL I have quite often thought about events and adventures, but that is WAY out of my price range right now. I am trying to pay off my truck so I can move to the St Paul area and be closer to work.

The Wilds game is on the March 28th. The cost for that is $44.00. Let me know if you can afford that. Another fun thing is games night. There is one on March 20th. It's usually a free event; but they are having a cost of $5.00 to buy food for the group. There are tons of other events. Call me sometime and I can tell you the ones that are going on.  Lori

OMG, yeah I would love love love to go to the game. I can come up with the money. I will call you after I hop on my treadmill and do my run. One thing though, you've gotta quit calling them the Wilds, there is no S at the end, they're just the WIld.

Thank you Troy, you're so very sweet. Maybe sometime soon the MG and Eagan coffee groups can meet somewhere large enough to hold us all in the middle. That'd be so much fun!! You're doing fantastic, can't wait to see you in person again to see your progress!
