The Weekend Away!

I like the idea of staying in Friday night and watching movies. The ham/bean soup sounds good to me. I am hoping they have Rotisserie chicken up there for the soup I am planning. It tastes better with that. I can work on that Friday night and then put in the slow cooker Saturday am. I need to get a bathing suit for the hot tub. I looked at Kohl's and it was too spendy. I just can't see myself spending $50.00 for a swim suit. Anyone have ideas on a place to get a cheap one? I am getting so excited for this. Yeay!!!!

Good morning, Lisa!  Yup--if you want to change the subject of a post you 'hijack' ! My placement is in limbo. Because the 3rd year SW students started their 40 day placement in January and the other 4th year SW students are halfway through their 60 day placements, the coordinator is having trouble finding someone who doesn't already have students to mentor. There aren't too many openings in the geriatric field for placements in the first place. There is a potential great one in geriatric assessment but that couldn't start until April when the preceptor is finished with conferences she's already signed up for. I HAVE to do 60 days of placement wherever I end up. Unless one opens up IMMEDIATELY, it appears that I probably will not graduate in May with my cohorts.   So much for 'visions of grandeur' of graduating the same year as Quin. As upset as I am about this, I am trying to keep in mind that this is according to God's plan (?!). I know God doesn't make mistakes---but this is MY life we're dealing with here!  I had a plan--doesn't God realize that?!  ((I'm being facetious here-  ---recall a post earlier this week --I forget who posted--about us telling God our plans so He can laugh...)) All I can say---((at last, eh?  You asked a simple ? and I give you a book!)) is that maybe I needed this extra time to get my (classic) depression under control with a new medication. In retrospect, the deep funk and inertia I was experiencing was depression----and might've been alleviated with new meds.  ('Cymbalta' was just allowed in Canada this January, so my doc is giving this a whirl. Hopefully it'll take care of aches and pains.) HINDSIGHT is 20/20.... Please keep my in your prayers!  I need all the help I can get!!! And how's Cindy doing? (((HUG)))  **SUE**
