FABULOUS MEAL!!!
I know that many of us are often looking for good meal ideas - well, dinner last night at the Smith house was FABULOUS!!! So I thought I'd share.
Saturday at Cub, I picked up those Gold'n Plump chickens in the bags - they had 3 flavors available, Mesquite, Lemon Garlic, and Sweet BBQ. They were featured at 2/$10, so I picked up the Lemon Garlic and Mesquite. Only when I got home & put all the groceries away, I discovered that my eyes aren't so good - I accidentally grabbed a Sweet BBQ. DANG! It didn't sound at all good to me. I'm a BBQ snob - Bullseye or nothin'.
Anyway, Bailey took care of putting it in the oven for us yesterday afternoon, and I was fully anticipating choking it down just to get a meal in. MAN was I WRONG!!! That was, quite possibly, the BEST DANG CHICKEN I've ever had in my life!!! Better than any rotisserie chicken I've ever bought! I steamed some asparagus with a touch of butter and salt, and I was in HEAVEN!!!! I can hardly wait for my leftover lunch today!!!

Heeeyyy Darla, I too have seen those but was only brave enough to try the lemon garlic. But now that I know the sweet bbq is also good, I will have to try that one as well. But they do make a great lunch the next day. And when I just have scraps left, I will cut it up and make a chicken salad sandwich. YUMMY!!
