Hi All, My surgery was moved up to 3/11, so I've started the 3 week liquid diet. Any tips on getting through it? I'm really committed to sticking to the 3 liquid meals per day. I think I've went thru a pack of gum in the past two days. Any ideas on sticking to it would be appreciated! Thanks,
Kristi

I have become ADDICTED to gum!  It has helped a lot.  I made my boost into ice cream and that was yummy.  I have hot tea or chicken broth when I get hungry too.  They seem to make me feel full.  I am not sure if that is because it is warm or what!

It is tough....but you can do it!  It will be worth it!

Hang tight girl...you CAN do this!

Yep!  It's tough but soooooo worth it!  Don't forget that SF Popsicles are excellant when ya need to crunch and offer a different flavor or a "treat".  Keep yourself busy!  Read a book you've always wanted to!  Best to you and YOU CAN DO IT

I just remembered that when I started to get hungry to drink another ensure or boost. I liked those better than the carnation. Good luck!

Kristi, I first 3 days are rough.  But your body get accustom to the LD.  Make sure you have plenty of SF POP's this took the edge off.  My wife told me I only got crabby twice. Good Luck Troy

You can do it....I know you can!! I liked SF Jello and SF popscicles. I also had broth and that was a nice change.  Keep busy...clean a closet, organize a drawer, read a book, call a friend, watch a movie....do what ever it takes! Just keep your eye in the prize!!!!! Hugs, connie d

Okay everybody -- roll your eyes -- here's my soup thing AGAIN!!!   I loved the Mrs. Grass with the golden egg soup.  You can cook it up as you normally would and then strain out the noodles.  Lots better than cubes, broth or the Lipton soup. Good Luck!!!  AND WOOO HOOO!!!  YOUR DATE WAS MOVED UP!!!! XXOO
