Fruit!!
I have been wanting to add some fruit to my diet. I was looking at the canned fruit and oh my the sugar. I know that I will not eat the full serving but still I thought fruit was suppose to be healthy. Anyways if I rinse cold water over the fruit before I eat it do you think that will reduce some of the sugar???
Please any suggestions you have would be appreciated.
I have canned fruit all the time. I get the no sugar added variety and only have a tbsp of the fruit with my meal. I empty the can into a larger tupperware and each morning I spoon a tbsp out into a smaller one to bring with me to work. I have had peaches and pears so far. I've also done frozen berries in my protein shakes.

Hi Angela-
I started with the no sugar added applesauces-the little cups are more than enough for now, not too sweet and they hit the spot. or try fresh/frozen fruits if the canned ones seem like they are too much sugar. The great thing about the canned ones is they are easy-and they are soft! don't be afraid to try a little-but remember to just take a bite and wait to see how it settles. Hope you find something nummy!!
