The south beach diet seems a little high in sugars and sugar alcohol.  I, personally, would stay away from that one. The atkins advantage peanut butter seems ok.  Taste it to see if you can tolerate it.  Don't buy a whole bun*****ase you don't like them. The power bar nut naturals seems another good choice.  Again, try it and see if you like it. marathon low carb snickers bar seems a little high in sugars as well.   There are other bars that other OH members have tried.  Twisted - a peanut butter pretzel bar is pretty good.  I don't have the names of the snacks that I eat right on hand.  I'll send you a personal message and let you know what the label says on those. Cottage cheese, string cheese - both a great source of protein for a snack. Kelly

I have the South Beach CEREAL bars for breakfast quite often. They have 140 calories,  10 G protein. I also like the Kashi cereal bars: 7 G protein , 140 calories. Both brands do tend to be a little too sweet for me sometimes.

Try the Power Crunch bars. They're FABULOUS! They taste like those vanilla wafer cookies.

Hi...some of those really seem like they have a lot of sugar (and sugar alcohol) in them. My nut said if it is over 8 grams of sugar not to eat it. If I eat any at all it is while I am on the road traveling. I use Pure Protein Chocolate Deluxe bars at 20 grams of protein and 2 grams of sugar. Also, Pure Protein Chewy Chocolate Chip with 20 grams of protein and 3 grams of sugar. Be careful!!  Hugs, connie d

Connie, Where do you find these? I am having a hard time finding the bars with that much protein. Thanks

I'm with Connie, my favorite is the Pure Protein Double Choc.  Yummy and lots of protein to boot!

Thank you all for your comments & suggestions. I'll stay away from the one's with more than 8g. of sugar. I've been on such a stall since the 2nd of Febuary, since then I've only lost 5 pounds, I'm starting to think it's because I don't get enough protein. Kelly

No, it's totally normal to have a "stall" a month to 6 weeks out. Your body needs to catch up to losing all that weight in a little amount of time. You're probably losing inches. It's nothing you need to worry about at this point in your WLS journey.
