I know that I have done great after my WLS. Losing the weight has been wonderful I can walk again, with out having to stop. I can buy cute clothes that I only wished to buy. But here is my problem. . I dont dump not that I would like to but I just dont. I can eat candy by the handfull, Ice cream like it is going out of style. And Carbs well I can eat as much as I would like. And I never Dump... I foam out of the blue, every now and then and on strange foods. One day I can have a pork chop and the next day I am foaming on a pork roast, and foam like crazy. So now I just dont eat pork roast, but now it is coffee. Well it has never been a problem for me and the last two days Foaming here I come. Also I feel that I can eat so much more then I should before I feel full. And that scares me to death because I dont want to regain, at only 6 months out. My weight has been stable for a week and a half. Do you think that this is the end of my weight loss?

Hello Pearl...at a size 4 you could very well be at the end or near the end of your loss. I can't answer your questions about foamies because I don't have that problem I have never gotten sick either. But then I only eat what is allowed. I can eat about 2/3 of a cup now...maybe if it is something like refried beans I can eat a little more.  I will be curious as to what advice others have for you. Hey...are you coming to group tonight??? You said you might. Dr. Smith is talking about plastic surgery tonight then the usual question and answer sessions. Let me know and I will save you a seat. PLEASE come!!!! Hugs, connie d

Pearl, Pearl, Pearl  -- When your body is done losing, it will stop and then you will have a regain of up to 10% to stabilize.  But you are done losing if you are eating what you put in your post!!!  The RNY is a tool, not a cure.  You need to get in touch with why you are eating the candy, ice cream and carbs.  And foaming is dumping -- just your way.  You wouldn't feel any better if you were shooting crap out the other end instead of the pouch trying to get it out before it goes in.  LISTEN TO YOUR TOOL!!!!!  Foaming is a way of your body saying "STOP"!!!!! Have you considered a 5 day liquid diet to rid yourself of the evil stuff lingering in your system and get back on track?  Your pouch will help you forever -- but your brain will work against it.  Slow down chewing, don't drink before and after meals and get back to drinking skim milk instead of eating candy, ice cream and carbs. I remember how bad you wanted this surgery -- it seems you have forgotten the struggles you went through to even have it.  Get back on track GF -- we are here to support you ~~ even if I'm not around to physically kick you in the butt -- consider yourself kicked!!! YOU CAN DO THIS!!!

Pearl, I haven't dumped either so far, and I have tested a few things. I haven't had any kind of foaming. But I think Barb is right, and I am listening to her too. We worked hard to get where we are and to have the surgery so why eat that crap! Try to be mindful and figure out why you want to eat what you are going to eat before you take the first bite. Good Luck! If you are getting tested for cancer then I know you are stress eating, I hope your okay there and they don't find anything, keep us posted.

I have never dumped on sugar 'cuz I have not too much desire for it, but i always foam on Pork chops or pork roast. No matter how much i chew or how little bites of it I take, it just never agrees with me. Which is unfortunate because i am not a huge fan of chicken.
