Hi dear Sandie...it is so good to see you here today!!  I had my gall bladder removed prior to surgery. I have not been able to eat greasy foods since. Now with WLS I don't go there anyway. I am sesitive to sugar. If my yogurt has 7 or more grams I feel yuk...I don't get sick it just doesn't sit well. Hugs and love ......connie d

I'm #1. I had my gall bladder out 5 months before WLS. I'm not super sugar sensitive, but I do dump and have the Big D! After getting your gall bladder out you will notice that you'll have more diarrhea than normal. This is totally a common side effect of the surgery. Much better to have diarrhea than it is to have gall bladder attacks, I say! Having my gall bladder out also made me not be able to drink carbonated beverages and it just got worse after WLS.

Please spay and neuter your pets!

Still have my gall bladder and have never had problems with it. I also don't get kidney stones anymore. I dumped BIG TIME in the first few years, but not as easily any more, but when I do, it sneaks up on me and hits me over the head with a 2x4.  I'm grateful for it.  It should kick in the behind as well (oh, I guess it does if you look at the size of that behind!).  I also have reactive hypoglycemia. Oh well.

My gall bladder was removed 25 years ago and I do dump on any amount of sugar over 10 grams at a meal.  I'm okay with it though cause it will definitely keep me from eating the wrong foods. XXOO

Sandy

Hi, My GB was healthy so left it in.  I am religious about taking the Actigall.  All is well and I do not seem to have a problem with sugar (afraid to try it) or much else.  Will be interesting to see what your survey comes up with.

Hi Sandie!! I saw you at PC Wal-Mart over the weekend getting out of your vehicle as me and hubby were driving away, I wanted to stop and say HI SANDIE, HOPE YOU ARE FEELING BETTER but you looked like you were moving a little bit gingerly and I didnt want to startel ya!  So HI!!  anyways a little late...

OK, I digress, on to the survey...

I had my gall bladder out in 2000 6 yrs before surgery and I suffered from diarrhea immediately.  It got better over time.  I am sensitive to sugar but it depends on what it is.  Sometimes I can have things that would seem to have more sugar in them than others but I get the queezy, sweaty, lightheaded, icky feeling from stuff that it would seem should be ok??  I'm weird though!

I hope you are feeling better!!!
