Did anyone catch the latest issue (Christina Aguillera on the cover) about the guy who had gastric bypass and went from 508 to 197?  I thought it was a good story, not negative at all.  The guy had 17 plastic surgeries to take care of excess skin!  That seems like waaaaay too many.  He lost 4 inches off each side of his face!!  Wow!   I hope he doesn't appear on Oprah......

Hi Linda Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to check it out. I went to People's website and it says that article is about Ron Lester. He is the guy who was at Spring Thaw in 2006. I was curious when you mentioned this guy had 17 plastic surgeries and I knew that Ron Lester had. Can you imagine having 17 plastic surgeries  ewwwww Thanks again. Peggy

I can't imagine 17 - I want to know more, don't you??  I can see maybe having 2 separate for the tummy, if he had way too much for just one surgery.  1 or maybe 2 for the face.  Geez, we only have 4 limbs and a trunk!!

Thanks for the heads-up, 'cuz Nosy People want to know!  (Yup- that's me...) I can't imagine going through 17 surgeries!  Maybe the plastic surgeons did it for the advertising?  In any case--what a tough guy to endure that many operations!  I hope he's happy when he looks in the mirror now...must be totally different guy looking back at him!
