HOW TO...

get the new avatar picture to show up when I post? After a lot of fidgeting and  goofing around I finally got Quin to monkey with the new avatar picture.  Now it's on the part that you 'download from your computer' or 'download from another website'.  The new pic won't show up where it's supposed to!  I've tried restarting my computer and it still won't show the new one. What am I doing wrong????

If the picture isn't 100x100 in pixel size, it won't take it. That could be your problem. Let me know if you need help editing it to that size!

We did enough hassling with the problem and finally got it right.  The new pic just won't show in my avatar.  We used the 'resize images. site. Any idea why the properly size picture won't shift to the avatar? Thanks for your help.

The thing that I screwed up a few times is after you hit the browse button and select your image, you have to hit the upload button to physically put the picture on the OH server. After you do that it should show up right away. :)

SweetSue, I see you!!! Nice pic, love it - you look awesome. Try just hitting refresh on your browser, that should work!

Thanks, Amy!  And thanks to 'dustingriesen' for his advice! I had to fit refresh several times, but it finally showed up. I had to threaten to use brute force to get Quin to take a new picture of me!   He takes pics of his cat all the time.  Maybe I should grow fur all over and MEOW. Maybe then he'd be more agreeable to taking my picture.  ((HUG)) ***SUE**
