First off, I am home and feeling soooo much better already (just sore for the incisions). Then I would love to thank Paula for being there and trying to help me! Then to Linda for being an AWESOME "little" angel. AND to the rest of you who poored out your support, prayer and love THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.....I am sooooo speechless at what a wonderful family we have here!! You all are soooooo amazing!!! I love ya all soo sooooo much! and can't say thank you enough! So here's the story: Been feeling ill for a while and just thought it was a bug. It would hurt after I ate and I just thought maybe I ate to fast or what not. Then on Sunday I started having nausea and diareha(sp?) but in between the bathroom visits I felt ok . Mon it was non stop throwing up and diareha but felt sick, so I made an appointment for my doc on Tues(she's not in on Mon). I was sooooo close to going to the ER but toughed it out. Got to the clinic Tues and she said she would have loved to admit me to the hospital but that the beds were full and I didn't really want to. SOO, I was given IV fluids at the clinic and meds for nausea with strict orders to go back Wed morn. I did and feeling worse she said I didn't have a say anymore and admitted me to the hospital. I had to wait to get there until 1pm. As soon as I got there and settled a bit I was sent to get an ultrasound. No stones were detected. So my doc KNEW there was something and ordered a CT scan. I didn't get the scan done until 9pm!!! They doped me up and I went to sleep. At 2am my doc (still at the hospital!!) popped in and told me that the scan showed that there was an unusual amount of fluid in my gall bladder and that a surgeon would be looking at the scan and me in the morning. The surgeon came in and said he was 99% sure there was a stone blocking the tube and that surgery around 12. I didn't get in until 1:30 and was back in my room at 3:30. Instantly I didn't feel "sick". Come to find out that there was no stone but that the ducts were soooo small that "a grain of sand" would clog it. Also, it was filled with fluid and VERY huge and that it had alot of "sludge". I even got pictures of the naughty mean gall bladder!! Well, I am home now and feeling just sore and tired and think I will go take a nap!! THANK YOU ALL!!! YOU ARE THE BEST & I LOVE YA ALL!!!!!
