OT - Puppy looking for a good home

Hi everyone My daughter, Linnea,  has been taking care of a puppy for a friend of hers who can't keep the puppy anymore. My daughter is moving, has a pomeranian already and can't have 2 dogs where she's going to and would like to find her a great home. Her name is Angel. She is 7 months old, very small......she's part pomeranian and chihuahua and weighs about 4 pounds and won't get much bigger. Oh, I would love to add her to my family, but after spending over $200 at the vet yesterday I just can't afford to have another one running around - but my 4lb Chihuahua Alife would absolutely adore her.  Why does taking care of dogs have to be so expensive???  I'd have a houseful if I could - although my parents threatened to disown me if I got another pet - I live in a small townhome and have two birds and Alfie - my zoo is pretty full - but I just love love love the little pups!   I hope she finds a good home soon - if she needs someone to watch Angel temporarily until she finds a home, I could maybe do that....hhhmmmm....

Hi Tracy Thanks so much for your response. Aren't doggies just wonderful!!!!! Expensive at times, but wonderful. I bet Angel would love Alfie as well. Linnea said she's such a cutie and very playful.  I really hope she can find her a home. She was rescued from a puppy mill and really deserves a loving, warm, wonderful home. Hugs to you and Alfie!! HA!  I immediately thought of you when I read the post, but I know what you mean about the cost of care.  Ugh. I hope Alfie is okay!!! Have you thought about getting pet insurance?  I think my daughter is finally going to get it for her dog (soon to be dogs again).

The puppy found a home. and We have a angel living with us.  Little puppy came to live with us on Sunday ,. she is so cute. she seems to adjusting well. we have to work on the potty training but that is nothing compared to the joy she is bring us.  Thanks for the tip.

I would love to get a play pal for my dog but I'm afraid that at 4lb. that might be a little too small for my 70lb. boxer.  A friend of mine was talking about getting a new puppy so I will let her know.
