cpap! A bit better
I made it until 11:55 with the cpap. Last night there was water dripping inside my mask and that is what woke me up? Any thoughts on that? I actually felt a drip near the middle of my nose on the left side.
I can tell it will get better with time. Thank you for all your help yesterday! I will get there in time.

Hey there I am so glas you tried it again you are a trooper.....As for the drips I had that problem too and they said to turn the water thing down you have a dial and turn it down a notch or two from where they have you at now and then work your way up from there. Also they said it could be if it's too cold in your bedroom it would make it drip and too put some socks over the hose part. Like it's not pretty enough right? Any ways i have mine turned down to the lowest it will go and have not had any more problems with that maybe 1-2 times since then then I take it off and try the next night. I hope this helps and good luck to you....It will get better each time you wear it. keep us posted and take care....
Hugs Marsha
Hi Lisa-I'm glad it's improving!! I was just reading the past posts-I bet it IS hard to get used to. I thought I would need one after my sleep study but didn't.
I too have heard that it's a whole new world tho as you lose sooo much sleep without it a person is tired all the time!!
Best wishes and Happy Love Day!!!

Good for you for being persistent - It will definitely improve your life!
Yep -- I had the drippies too. That is what woke me up too!!! Depending on the type of machine, you may have to turn off the water thing. I had mine all the way down and I still had the drippies so I turned off. Call the cpap people and ask them what to do with your type of machine. Gross to wake up with face full of water -- having dreams of drowning and taking showers!!!
But sooooo proud of you for sticking with it. It will get better!!! Those on the board who still use the machine aren't giving you a line of bull that you will get used to it cause you will. And there are adjustments you can make to get the best possible night sleep out of it.

Lisa,
Glad to see that you tried the mask again. I didn't have the drips because I use the nasal pillow.
It isn't a mask just a little piece that fits right to your nose.
Keep up the good work and soon you will be sleeping very well through the night and you will feel
it through how rested you feel.
Good Luck...take it one night at a time.
Take care,
