Actually, I was just thinking that I didn't know Diamond Girls was going for the DS, but thought I was out of the loop

Congrats to both girls for making the choice that is best for them!

Oh my goodness, I love all of you so much.  I thank you and God for your forgiveness. I have really missed each and every one of you.  It has been a long hard road but I am on the right path and so grateful for life and for the love of God.  I am weak and without God on my side I am nothing and powerless against the demons that ruled my life for way too long. I've lost so much but I have gained so much more.  God bless each and every one of you.  I had a VERY hard time finding the help I needed but I didn't give up.  First and most important is to turn your life over to God and realize you are powerless.  I have a wonderful physiologist.  Her name is Dr. Janice Maidman (952) 926-4554. She works with WLS patients and was referred to me by PNC.  Thank you PNC!!!!! She has been fantastic.  I also see a psychiatrist, Dr. Winegarden (952) 241-4050,  he specializes in people with addictions and has extensive experience in helping many who have been addicted to various substances.  I also found help through Fairview Recovery Services. (952) 924-5901.  I went through detox at Fairview University and a wonderful Dr. by the name of Dr. Amer helped me get off the pain killers using a wonderful new drug called Suboxon (sp?).  I also attend NA meetings every week.  I NEVER miss one.  It's an amazing program with amazing people.

God bless all of you!

Love,

Linda

Linda, I am so glad to see your post.  I so seldom have a chance to even lurk at this website and here I am at 1:45am and found your post.  I am so happy that you are doing better.  You have been in my thoughts many times during the past months.  It sounds like you are making so many positive changes in your life now.  Keep going on the road to recovery, is so worth it.  You and Shannin, Jen, Connie, and Lisa (our little coffee group) have always had such a special place in my heart.  Take care, Corrine
