Appologizies to All From the Heart

Some of you old time lurkers know me and most of you newbies don't.  I went through a very difficult time about six months after my RNY. Ulcer, addiction transference with pain pills, Seven operations in 11/2 years, I could have spaced these out further and made beter choices. for myself.  I really turned my back on the program and all the wonderful people here, but most of all I let myslef down.  I am so sorry for my behaviors the pain and fear I have caused many of you. Please accept my appologizes.  Drug addictioncan makes a oerson do things they would never eeer do in a normal frame of mind. I am now seeing a great Physciatrist  and a wonderful therapist. who specializes in WLS patients.  I love her! I have gone through detox and am dealing with some legal issues I created for myself and take full responsibility for them.  I am in the process of  going to outpatient therapy and attend at least two NA meetings a week.  What a great group these people at NA are. I have turned my life over to God and in his hands I know I will be okay.   He will only give me what I can deal with.  I take things one day at a time and am following the NA program.  I love going to the NA meetings. I have done many people wrong with lies and deceit.  I am sorry.   A thousand times over i ask for your forgiveness. All of my behavior has cost me my marriage, my friends and almost my job.  Thank God I have Him waching over me now.  I have a long road of recovery ahead of me but with God's help i know I will get there. God bless to all Linda

Hi Linda~ It takes a whole lot of inner strength to post your shortcomings and weaknesses--and you will be blessed for taking this step.  Take care but let God do the worrying. ((HUG)) **SUE**

Linda, I'm so glad to hear you are the road to recovery.  There are some here, myself included, who owe YOU an appology...There are none of us here without our demons, and this should always be a safe place to vent your fears and frustrations as well as celebrating successes.  I will keep you in my prayers. Linda- I am so glad to see you back on the boards and happy to hear you're in good hands!  Please keep us updated on your progress.  Thi****s home for me, as I too have dealt with addiction transference and am not having any luck finding a Dr or therapist to go to that is famiiar with WLS patients and that aspect of it.  I have seen two and they were clueless about gastric bypass and such.  How did you find your doctor? Good luck to you!  Lori
