Woohoo a new date

Well after having to cancel my surgery the day before it was scheduled last time due to low iron, I am happy to say that I was able to reschedule today! My new date is March 19th. I'm so excited. Not looking forward to the 3 week liquid diet again, but now that the iron is under control I'm ready for anything! Kristi

Congrats!!!  You'll do great!   I wonder if Green Beer for St. Pattys' Day counts on the liquid diet???  Just kidding! Good for you!

Congrats!!!  Not just on the date, but for sticking to your guns to make this happen!  Some things are just beyond our understanding, and we have to trust that it all happens for a reason.  Just keep doing what your doc tells you to do, and soon you'll be watching yourself melt away!! You're in New Hope?  Close enough to make it to some of our coffee get-togethers.  I HIGHLY recommend that you do so - everyone is welcomed with open arms!!!  And we laugh a lot, too!  Very theraputic, laughter.  Also highly recommended!!!

Thanks Darla, yes I am in New Hope and have been  thinking about atteding a coffee get together! Everyone here is so great, it would be great to met in person and continue with the support! Thanks again and I'll look for the next coffee outing!
