What are your plans for Valentine's?

Thats hysterical!!! I LOVE saying things like that to mine! Whenever Lauryn starts getting nosy about what Noah and I are doing for the night I tell her we're gonna do the oompa loopa until the ceiling tiles crack! The look of pure horror on her face is sooo worth it!... god I remember how it was jus tthe thought of "old sex" creaped me out at that age... now I understand why my parents thought it was so funny!

Hubby and I are having a quite dinner at home said he would get some candy  on my  what a sweetie he knows it will be the last Valentine candy for quite some time  for both of us. My love is a sweetie 

I sitting in on the trial of Sigmund Freud as a member of the jury.  Other than that, it will be just me cuddling with my cat.

Well it's my dad's birthday tomorrow as well, so I will go celebrate his birthday with him.   I am going to make him a birthday cake, but I can't decide what to make.  Should I make a Lemon Lemonade cake, a chocolate-chocolate cake or a yellow cake with fudge frosting.  Decisions, decisions!  My DB has basketball practice tomorrow, so we are getting together for dinner on Friday, but I'm sure it won't be too fancy.

 I vote yellow with fudge frosting!  That was my favorite growing up

Oh, its very good.  The easy way to make it is to get a box of lemon cake mix and usually the directions are on the box.  But you make the cake according to the directions, get a can of frozen lemonade concentrate and thaw it.  When the cake is done and cool, poke little holes in the cake and pour the lemonade over the cake.  Refrigerate for a couple hours and then frost with lemon or cream cheese frosting.  My daughter likes when I put yellow sprinkles on top.

I am doing nothing.....Valentines Day holds bad memories....I was dating this really hot guy back when I was young and single and he was sleeping in, so when I left to go to work I wrote on the bathroom mirror in big red lipstick letters...HAPPY V.D.....and that was the last I saw of him! NOT KIDDING.....didnt even get to explain it meant valentines day....what a jerk!

So now I just ignore that day and so does my dear hubby...he is not romantically inclined at all. His idea of romance is watching a NASCAR race while reading a car magazine and snacking on Chex Mix. Thank Goodness he has other good qualities!!!!
