Major milestone was passed this morning (WOW moment)

Post this in the RNY forum too.... After jumping on the scale this morning I found out that I am now down 76 pounds!  I'm so excited - this brings me to my half-way point for my weight loss!  Yay!

Now the burning question - doesn't the weight loss slow down after 4 months?

Congratulations on a job well done! How exciting for you to be at the half-way point in your journey!  As far as weight slow-down, everybody is different. Sticking to the plan your doc recommends is important, as is 'protein first, and drinking all 64 oz. of water.  Getting in exercise is also important. Keep in mind that when the lbs. don't seem to be disappearing, that's when sizes shrink. A lot of people throw away their scales, as it's too easy to become obsessed with the downhill travel of it. Good luck! ((HUG)) **SUE**

GREAT JOB!!  Half-way there - that's gotta feel SOOOOO good!  Don't worry about a slow down - if you keep following all the basics of using your tool properly your body will continue to lose and if you don't see the scale moving - rest assure that the body is still working, cause you'll see the inches melt off and you'll be able to fit into smaller clothes - it's not always about the number on the scale! Bask in your accomplishments today - you've done a fantastic job!

WTG Chica! Rock that tool. As far as the slow down I'm sure that will happen.

That is AWESOME!  You must feel so good!  I agree with everyone else and wouldn't sweat a slow in loss.  I think I had heard somewhere that the first 6 months were when the major loss would occur, but I could be wrong.

Hello and a big CONGRATULATIONS to you!!! Halfway is great...you are really using that tool!! I don't know about weight slowing down because I haven't had that problem. I know people here are right .....you still lose inches even when it slows down. Good Luck....Hugs, connie d

WOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! Way to use that tool - doesn't it feel great to get to the half-way mark?  Don't worry about the slow-down...it will keep working, as long as you keep following the directions for it.... YEAH FOR YOU!!!!
