My confession...
Lynn, thank you for posting this advise. I have not had a soda for about 3 months, I knew it was the devil, and am now glad that I will be going into wls with the habit kicked. I've learned so much from these boards, my confidence level keeps going up every time I read the posts ~ it's helping to get my head in the game.
Good luck with the last 40-50, you can do it!!
Lynn,I totally agree with you on this. When the doctor says no carbination it isn't just because it doesn't bother you to have it...it is just bad for you. My surgeon is awesome and I know he knows what he is talking about. If he says NO then that is the way it is.
Thanks for sharing this with everyone.
Congrats on the fresh start!!
Hugs, connie d
I totally agree 100%
I was crediting my new dating experience with my recent weight loss, but it was actually cutting out the diet dew. I wasn't quite drinking as much as you, but enough. Also it makes you really gassy! That was my reason for quitting...didn't want those sneaky toots during my dates!!!
So, yep, folks....diet soda is the devil. Seriously.
That is such good advice, thanks for sharing! I haven't had pop since before my surgery - to tell the truth, I am afraid I might explode, LOL
I remember at the PNC information session them saying that the surest way to sabotage yourself is to drink pop with meals. It is never too late to stop and I am glad you have given up that addiction.
Switch to buying jewelry....
