4 Month Surgiversary -- What A Difference!!!
It's been 4 months since my surgery!!! Time flies when you are having fun!!! I've lost 80 pounds, gone from a size 22 to loose 8 pant, and from a 2x (to accomodate my tummy) to a medium shirt). And I'm still losing and shrinking!!! I'm 20 pounds lighter than my predicted goal by doctor of 60 pounds and only 20 away from where I'd hope I would end up (at around 100 pounds).
My BMI is in the normal range and I've lost at least 35 inches. I feel healthier than I did 10 years ago at 40 years old (thought my age of 50 was the reason for my being tired and slowing down). I've got soooo much energy I'm driving my hubby nuts running around.
I was itching my shoulder the other day and thought "what is the bump" -- was one of my bones I hadn't felt in years!!! And the other side had one too!!!
This surgery is truly a blessing and I thank God everyday for my good health, good attitude and fantastic hubby!!! And I love all my OH and coffee friends!!! What a GREAT bunch of gal pals!!!

Barb,
This surgery has been very, very good to you! Last Saturday when you joined us at Burnsville coffee I had to do a double take - I seriously didn't know who you were. In 4 short months your transformation has been amazing!
Good job Barb - i'll see ya in a few at coffee!
Hey Itsy-bitsy-Barb!
You are so fantastic lookin' these days-I was sitting with Tracy last week and she REALLY TRULY DID NOT RECOGNIZE YOU when you came in!! She turned to me and asked who you were while you had your back turned takin off your coat-then she caught sight of your face and said "oh my God, thats BARB!!!" I still chuckle about that one...
stay warm and don't let this wind blow you away you lil' thing-
