Hey there!  You have come to the right place for support. I know the nerves can get you. But how exciting, too, those nerves can be. YOU ARE HAVING SURGERY!!!! Yippee!!!! This is a good thing for you. Hold on to that and you'll be just fine.

WELCOME to the board!!  Everyone is so supportive here, you will love it and become addicted to it!!  Congratulations on making it to this point!!  I know what you mean about when you first find out you are approved.  I felt excited, nervous, excited, nervous, LOL....But I had total peace about this and prayed too.  You will do just fine and before you know it, we will make room for you on the loser's bench!!!

Welcome to the MN Boards. This is just a great place with lots of support. You have come to the right spot. As everyone as already told you the mix of emotions is normal. This is a life changing experience and its normal to get the nerves.  How exciting your journey is going so fast. Before you know it you will be on the losing side.  I would suggest to you if you can ever make it to a coffee group to go. These coffee groups are generally held on a Saturday and you will always see a posting a few days before. Its a great opportunity to meet people and to learn from them. I have been very inspried by these coffees.  Wishing you all the best on your journey.

I became a BIG believer in KARMA throughout my pre-op process!  And I believe that your surgery getting moved up so soon has GOT to be a sign that it was meant to be for you!  Dr. Jones is a magician, you are in EXCELLENT hands!  So just realize that the nerves are totally normal, and look forward to watching yourself SHRINK right out of the clothes you're wearing now! Oh - and back scratcher for the hospital.  I was SO GLAD I brought mine!!!
