Can you just vote or do you have to spend alot of time with the process, I've never been to a caucus.

You can go in and vote and then leave if you like - or you can choose to stay and be part of the process in choosing delegates and working on adding issues to the party platform.

It is a very short time frame tonight - I know the DFL is accepting votes from 630pm-8pm - I think most of the others open at 6:30 as well.

You go in and they verify that you are a registered voter and then you vote.

You can use the previous link to find where your caucus place is.

Way to get involved in the process!  Thanks for asking questions!

I went last night and chaos is the best way to describe it.  I may go again another year just to see what I missed this year by the chaos and see what it's really supposed to be like.  I was there early but once the crowd hit there was no room to move around, only one small and I do mean small map to look at the room I was supposed to go to was so small I was stuck out in the hall.  Most the discussion was over by the time I got to the room it took so long to get close enough to the map to see the info I needed.

I went and I stayed and the first part was fine but once everyone was released from there the chaos started.  They had one tiny and I do mean timy map for everyone attending to look at.  By the time I got up to it and put my glasses on to read it everything was well into motion.  I couldn't get in the room once I found it so whatever was said I missed by being stuck in the hall.  There were alot of people complaining, but the bigger guys pushed up front and left us little guys to flounder in the crowd (mostly women).
