Butt, gut and hips, oh my!

Hi I agree with all the others. Find a pair that have a little spandex (stretch) to them. I, unlike others, have the opposite problem. My waist is tiny, but my thighs still have so much loose skin, that to get pants to fit my thighs, they gap really bad in the waist. I can wear a smaller size for my waist and still have the stretch for going over my thighs. The kind I wear are called Denim Riders. I have no close where to buy them, cuz I pretty much only shop at thrift stores but have had good luck in finding them there. Peggy

Yep, you definitely need the stretch!  Not only does it help with the fit, but holds in the loose skin, LOL I personally like Dockers and Lee Riders, but mainly because their petite sizes fit me best.  I still shop at Savers and I remember one of my favorite pairs of pants was a Tommy Hilfinger brand.  Just have a good time and go shopping, try on lots of stuff and you will find what is right for you.

Try the Right Fit at Lane Bryant.  There are 3 different shapes - Plus the sizes are 1, 2, 3, and up, so you feel good walking out in a size 2 (really 16-18).   Erin

Jeans are difficult for me because I'm tall with thin legs.  I buy my jeans at Walmart  (Faded Glory )Boot cut in talls and only $16 a pair.  They come in petite, regular and tall and have stretch.  My legs and hips are thin but have the saggy draggy gut and they work well for me.  The are mid rise so they are just below the waist and fit the gut better.  Good luck! Thanks Bonnie.  I went clothes shopping over the weekend.  I thought I'd love it because I've lost so much weight.  I had fun with shirts, but the pants were all the same...too tight in the gut, too loose in the leg and but area.  I left feeling miserable.  I couldn't enjoy buying clothes before because I was so fat and nothing fit, now I'm so saggy and droopy that nothing fits...  But I've been given some good ideas of different pants to try.  So, hopefully in the next week or two I can get out to the cities and try to find some pants that actually fit.

I love the Zanadi jeans from fashion bug or the wilshire(?) pants they have there~ they have a bit of stretch to them so they hug all the right places and stretchy enough to give you a little relief in the tighter spots!  the only thing about Zanadi is there pants tend to have the wider bottom legs! I am in love with them but some people don't like them.  The wilshire ones have a straight leg~ I like those too!  Good luck with finding the right fit~ oh and I forgot to mention I have the EXACT same problem so I totally know what you mean.
