Butt, gut and hips, oh my!

I'm wondering if anyone has this same problem.  I'm losing weight and inches, so now I'm all butt, gut, and hips.  I can't find pants that fit.  If they fit my problem area, then they sag in the rear and the legs are huge and everyone tells me they don't fit.  But to get them to fit my legs and sagging area, then they're tight around the waist. Is there a brand that doesn't go out in the thigh area, just maybe goes straight down, or something?  Has anyone found pants to fit this shape of body and maybe that would even look good on? Thanks and Happy Tuesday all! Debi

Im not sure of your size but the GLO jeans are really nice..they have stretch so the flex in the areas that might be tight and hug the areas that are smaller. I love them and they got me through alot of my weight loss....  I have the same issue to get them to fit my legs and booty they have to be snug around the hips. So I wear tighter jeans to go out and looser ones to hang out... literally LOLOLOL

I agree with Linda go for pants with stretch right now they may feel a little tight at first but they will loosen up once on.

I buy misses sizes because they have thinner legs, smaller butt and larger waist -- my problem areas.  I never had a stick out butt or large legs -- most of my weight was in the tummy creating the comorbidities -- I'm a light weight).   I have had better luck with shopping at JC Pennys than any where else.  They carry Liz and Co pants and her "stretch" fit has a great roomy waist and not too much in the butt and legs.  St. John's Bay at Pennys isn't bad either -- they also have the stretch fit for the waist. But I literally start at the bottom half of the pants rack and look for tapered legs (but not straight leg or tight ankle cut -- go toward a larger flare bottom) because they go in from the butt to the knee and then come back out.  Then I look for the size I need for the waist.  Then most of the time, I end up taking the hips in with my sewing machine.    XXOO

I found the greatest pair of Tommy Hilfiger's at the thrift store the other day... I'll keep shopping for that brand as I go down. They allow a little more room in the hips and thighs.

Yup, I have a huge stomach and no butt/hips/thighs. I would probably be a 6 or 8 if I didn't have such a big tummy. Welcome to post-WLS!

I've had pretty good luck with the Avenue jeans with 2% spandex - you can wear them snugger in the smaller areas without cinching you in the larger areas!  My belly is my issue, too - if I could tighten up my midsection more, I could easily be in 18's now.  I can wear some 18's (like - oh, Avenue?), but mostly my belly is keeping me in 20's that bag in the arse.  But I'm not complaining... comparing the way these fit to the way my 32's fit?  Get outta town... I like boot cut or flares, too - I think they're more flattering when you are bigger up top.

Well, I see by your avatar that you're not in the Twin Cities - so probably not convenient for you to visit one of their stores, but they DO have a website!  I'm guessing AVENUE.com - just do a search.  I visit the one at Knollwood in St. Louis Park, and yup - in Avenue jeans, I'm an 18!
