Wow, who knew there were so many different thrift stores, certainly not me!  Thank you for posting this it will help me to expand my shopping when I have to go again (hopefully at the end of the month or beginning of next month).

Thank you for posting all these.  I have no idea where any are, but I will be looking them up as soon as I have the time. If anyone wants to get together to go "thrifting" let me know....I'd love to have company and an honest voice saying - No not those, or Yes, that one!!  And the more the better!

Wouldn't it be fun to rent a bus and go thriftin' as a group???  There are also some fun stores to check out as well that carry purses and jewelry.   Maybe a spring shopping caravan???

Other Linda - some friends have always talked about doing the bus thing for the Woodbury Garage Sale mecca that they have the mothers' day/fishing opener weekend.  That is all the bargains we could stand!

Maybe this group would want to plan that?

Last Saturday I visited Unique Thrift in New Hope for the first time. WOW! I bought 3 pairs of pants, two sweaters, 2 shirts, a swimsuit, and some pencils/pens/paint brushes for my classroom....all for under $40. The clothes were sorted by sizes rather than by colors like the Goodwill stores I've been in. On Tuesdays everything is 25% off. The day after holidays, everything is 50% off! To get there, exit 169 at Rockford Road. Take Rockford Road east to Winetka. Turn north for a block or so, and Unique Thrift is in a strip mall on the west side of the street. Happy bargain hunting!
