Starting 5 Day pouch test

Happy Monday morning everyone I'm going to start the 5 day pouch test today. I really need to work on those nasty, nasty carb cravings Wish me luck. I'll keep you posted on how it goes. Off to the store now. I'm going to make the cheese soup and get some Low Carb Slim Fast. I might even try doing the sugar-free jell-o  LOL Have a great day everyone!!!! Best of luck to you, Peggy. I had an extremely difficult time this past time when I did the 5DPT. I was constantly hungry - it didn't stop. It was horrible. Hopefully you won't go through this. Hugs, Farrah from Warm (80 degrees this past weekend lasting until tomorrow) Tallahassee

Hi Farrah Thanks for the words of encouragement. You're the one who gave me the encouragement to do this, since you did it first. I'm trying to make the ham and cheese soup recipe. I'll see how it tastes. I have some sugar free, protein pudding that's helping so far. It has 12 grams of protein, so it should help. Just got done on the treadmill. That was fun.......NOT, now I'm really hungry after burning off the calories that I ate for breakfast. Okie dokie, off to try the soup. Hugs Peggy

WOW Peggy,  I started the 5 DPT today, too!!! I thought maybe it would be harder at work.........but instead, it was not too bad. I picked up two 4 packs of Muscle Milk.........low carb version. I had 3 of them so far today (it's almost 6pm here) I also took a couple sf jello cups and a sf pudding or two.  I did the black bean soup for lunch.   Can't say I"m not hungry........miss chewing right now.  I"m off to the treadmill, myself. Will probably go to bed early tonight.......... The other thing I found at Walmart........for day 3, is little tins of tuna.......one with sundried tomatoes and another with spicey thai chili. Right now, I could eat the tin can and all!!!  LOL I'll let you know how they are.  Good luck.........I"m looking to tame the carb monster, too!! Pat
