Tummy rumbles?

So a few random questions. After WLS Does the other tummy rumble? Do you get queesy when your hungry? The other tummy is empty so doesn't that make you feel hungry or queesy?

Morning.. Good questions. As far as I go..   No the other tummy doesnt want to say anything.. its too scared LOL ( honestly no I dont even know its there) No I dont get queasy... somtimes I dont ever feel hungry and have to remind myself to eat, other times its not a growl its like an empty pre-growl feel. Once again the other stomach has no feeling.. doesnt ever remind me its there ( in fact I forgot about till I read your post! )  but its a nice place to store extra change  < grin>

My pouch hasn't stopped rumbling since Surgery on Tuesday but I think that just means I have walk more to get the gasses out.  I haven't noticed my other tummy.  I know before surgery i had a lot of questions about that other tummy like at first I thought it pretty much just died and sat in your body doing nothing but I soon learned it still has a job but I won't notice it.  

That's a good question. I don't think it does. At least I haven't notice anything and I'm only a month and a half out.

For me its like the leftover tummy doesn't exist.  Its very very rare that anything grumbles!  I have to eat little bits fairly often or I do get lightheaded...nothin' gets a chance to really grumble! also, I noticed that if I'm getting my fluids in properly I can completely forget to eat...don't get the signals until I am quesy!

Good questions! My other tummy doesn't rumble - at least I don't think it does.  I don't get queezy either.  But my pouch does gurgle quite a bit after I eat - I actually enjoy hearing the noises and giggle to myself when it happens. Interesting question about the other tummy being empty and if it makes you feel hungry.  I'm pretty sure the answer has to be no - otherwise so many people wouldn't be successful with WLS - somehow it's ability to send the "hungry" signal must get severed when they make the pouch.  Good quesiton for your doc - I'd love to hear the "official" explanation. My tummy makes lots of noise and it's LOUD sometimes.  Sometimes I get a little sick to my tummy but it's not when I'm hungry, it's at weird times.
