How was tubing and does anyone have pictures???

I was sooooo wishing I could have gone yesterday cause I know you all are so much fun!!!!  So now I want to see pictures!!!!  And a report on injuries --- JKing!!!! XXOO

It was alot of fun!  No pictures from me...but thats a good thing...I am sure I would have smooshed my camera!  I never thought I would do something like this...I am a wuss.  It was nice to meet some people from OH.  I am taking my DH soon to go again.

Hey hottie! My family & I had a great time! We're so thankful to Darla for setting that event up. No pics as I was too afraid the camera would get broken. Sorry! I felt like a stuffed green pepper though if that's any indication as to how I looked. LOL But, I was totally warm (thanks Debi for the jacket!!!) & even sweaty. The weather was perfect. Here's my take on the tubing: Think Giant Slide at the state fair. Add snow. That's what it was to me. It was great. They had about 12 slides with snow berms separating each one. Then you take one of those George Jetson sort of conveyor belts ("Magic Carpet" Darla called it) back up to the top. Effortless. Great fun, looking forward to going again. Awesome park!!! Injury report: some chic had to puke on the way off the shuttle, so my littlest one got knocked over & has a nice cut on his nose and forehead from hitting something on the bus. He'll heal - he had so much fun, he keeps talking about that vs. the injury so that's good!

 

I was only kidding about an injury report because of MJ last weekend.  Soooo sorry your son was hurt by an idiot!!!!  There is always one in the crowd~~~~ Glad everyone had a good time --

It was the BEST TIME EVER!!! I felt like I was a kid again. We will have to do it again. No pics were taken. We were all to concerned about wrecking our cameras.  Lori

I was so tickled at everyone that showed up!  Naomi, Suzy, there were a few total surprises - I LOVED IT! I keep thinking... how much fun would it be to videotape a ride down that hill??!!?  ESPECIALLY a spinner down lane 1??!!  But yeah, who wants to put their camera in jeopardy...

Someday, I'm gonna talk Wayne into doing a 10-midnight tubing event on a full moon weekend night, and people, WE WILL GO!!!

Darla -  Thank you for organizing this event....tubing was a BLAST.  It was nice to meet my fellow OH'ers I had not met yet.  My girls had the best time.  We got home and they were all sleep by 10pm.  So was I.  The only bad part was that we were all sore; especially me.  Actually it's Monday, and I'm still sore.  The girls played their basketball game on Sunday and won but they were all complaining about sore legs and arms.  But the first question they asked me was, when are we going back.   So thank you Darla, We love you Darla!!!  Oh, and thanks for getting me a jacket, I really appreciate it. So when is the next function?

Just to give credit where credit is due, Dontelle, Marsha (day-care-mom) provided the jacket for you!  I was just the shuttle  Not sure about the next function - I think someone needs to set up a bowling get-together!  But I'm going to be pretty busy for the next couple of months with Girl Scout stuff, so MY next deal will be the overnight at the Baker Near Wilderness Settlement.  I'll post about that pretty soon - the date will be March 29th.  And there's no rush to sign up, we've got the place.  We'll take all comers, up to 8 cabins full! Glad y'all had fun!  And YAY on DD winning the bball game Sunday!!!  Those girls must be dang good!
