New here..

Hi! I'm kinda new here.. Have been lurking for a couple of weeks now... I love the boards! I wanted to say hello to everyone. I can't even tell you how much this has helped me! I'm a couple of months in to my process. I'm looking at a April-may surgery date. This board has motivated me! Everyone seems so nice here. I think I might just stay around probably lurking..

Welcome... One thing you will find, beside the fact that this board has the nicest and most caring people ever, is that you can ask ANY question, even the most private questions.  People here are in all stages of WLS and always willing to help out. I've been out on the main board and I find that there are a few catty people on that board and a few times I've seen downright mean things being said.  But NEVER on this board.  Everyone here is here to encourage and help others and to get encouragement and help back. It's so wonderful to find a group of people that know exactly how you feel, what you're going thru. Stay in touch! Debi

Welcome!  I would have to agree that the people on this board are knowledgable, helpful and supportive.  This is a great place to bounce ideas off people, get reassurance about worries, get support in this wonderful journey and meet people in the same place as you.  I wish you the best of luck in your process and that things will fall in place for you!
