Duluth has an awesome visitors website.  It is VisitDuluth.com  There is a section that lists Lodging by area of the North Shore and Duluth.

Sandy...Love the new Avatar!!! I am ok with either place..but would preferto stay somewhere closer to Duluth. There is so much to do in the Canal Park area and even I havent done it all. I am pretty sure I would be in for the weekend too.

Hey one night or two, I'm in for any!!  We need to visit Grandfather Time in Canal Park (I think) for antiques and unique items!!

Any news on the accomadations? The Holiday Inn looks pretty nice. They have two room suites.
