The cold and carbs
I've been gone for a week or so as my back acted up again and then I got sick. At any rate I watched alot of tv and what I learned on Kare 11 was when it gets really cold like it has been, people crave carbs. So if you've been craving carbs (I know I have) maybe that's why.

Go outside today! It may not be sunny but it feels warm compared to the last few days - I nearly took my coat off and ran around the parking lot. Then I reminded myself that I don't run!
Anyway, thanks for the explanation Gwen - our bodies want to hybernate and it's the carbs that it wants so it can store up a fat layer so we don't freeze and can sustain ourselves till Spring. I love the seasons we have here, but could definitely do without the below zero stuff!
See you at coffee tomorrow?
I doubt I'll make it to coffee, my back has bothered me all week plus I had a bladder infection etc. I went out today for a bit and I am exhausted.
