Okay - no, the butt is NOT wet.   Is it just ME, or am I REALLY that crooked???  I sure didn't FEEL crooked when my friend took this pic!  I just hadn't had any "from behind" shots taken up to this point (I wish I had!!) So apparently, I really DO need to continue on with the chiropractor.  I mean, I wasn't feeling any pain, wasn't feeling tippy or odd at all.  I'd even go so far as to say I was feeling pretty darned proud of myself - standing tall, allowing a BUTT shot, for cryin' out loud!   I didn't get it.. when I'd walk into PNC support group meetings feeling all hunky-dorey, and someone would say.. "Darla, you're limping!"  I'd think to myself...  Guess I was wrong.  Good grief...

The things we find out when we look at pictures of ourselves!  I know that when I was going to school for massage therapy (never finished, long story) we were taught to look at people from the back as well as watching their gait to try and find problems like this.  I hope you can go to the chiropracter and get "straightened out".

 Hey Darla, simple fix:

stop hugging from the  right side,

just lean to the left and hug  away....friends, family,

                       strangers, trees, just practice.....practice....

                           then tell your chiropractor 'buh-bye!'

Strange humor, but just couldn't resist!

Miss 'ya, though take care of you 'til

I can give you a huge hug!

                                                      H ugs galore, Patti

I have favored my lower left back for so long, it's a real effort for me to try to put more responsibility on it.  I always tend to rest most of my weight on my right leg/hip.  So I have to really focus on shifting it to my left.  It hurts, but it also seems to help after a spell.  After my friend took this picture, I took my left shoe off to try to level out my hips - and she said it made an immediate difference in my posture!  I have a very thin lift in my right shoe from my chiro, so perhaps I need a more significant lift in there?  His x-rays show about a 1" difference, my left hip being higher than the right.  I should get a t-shirt that says "Don't trust me - I'm crooked".    (hehehe....)

Well -- we are all kinda !!!  But I think it's got to be the butterfly pulling you so you turn around so we can see you beautiful face!!!! Actually I thought your knees were bothering you -- something we all have.  I never noticed you were leaning.  Guess those behind pictures are more informative than we realize!!! XXOO

The knee problems are a direct result of the back issue.  I was broad-sided over 11 years ago, and have had chronic back pain & problems ever since.  At times, the pain has been disabling!  The pain isn't so bad anymore in my back... but it has migrated down my left leg into the knee, and it gives me some pretty excruciating pain when I do too much walking/exercising/etc.  So when I'm WITHOUT pain in either my back or my leg, I'm feelin' pretty sassy!  Walking tall, on top of the world, what have you.  And frankly, I feel like that more often than not lately - but seeing this photo was really a shocker.    I guess I really do need to continue with treatment, so I can hopefully prevent becoming one of them bent-over little old ladies.  Okay, or a bent-over big old lady.  I'll NEVER be "little"...
