FOR ONCE there was a show that had alot of good things to say about WLS!!! I was impressed! My heart goes out to the man (Kevin)! I cried watching his story! I am soooo thankful that Dr. Phil is going to help him! What were your thoughts?

Was working, but am curious - did he highlight any specific surgery?

No, they just said gastric bypass. Kevin was 715 pounds and has been denied surgery 7 times. One said that they would do the surgery if he got down to 500. So Dr. Phil was saying that WLS is an effective tool and has helped many(paraphrasing) and that he will send in the top team of people(who will then train local people) to help Kevin lose weight to hopefully qualify for surgery. And Dr. Phil is paying for a meal delivery system specially designed to meet Kevin's needs to eat healthy and help in losing the weight. SOOO, I was so happy with watching it ~unlike other talk shows that have nothing good to say about WLS!
