No need to bow! You go for the 5k. I just started with working my way up to a mile and then increased it a little each time. Once you get into the runners zone then it becomes easier to run the longer distances. I can usally do twice around Harriet by summer which is 5.75 miles. Let me know when you want to run your first race and I will run it with you for support. Hope the new job is still going well Jim

Congrats on the 5K. I am quite pigeon toe'd so the thought of me running is quite funny. Now imagine an overweight pigeon towed 5 footer running- I get pretty trippy

I might try roller blades when I loose a few more. At least with that my feet have to go out not in...

A am pretty good at snowplowing on skii's though- good with the bad

Thanks for posting about the pouch test. It is good info.
