I survived!!
Well I survived the Frozen 5K Just Barely. I always trained for the previous ones at my old club becasuse I hate running on the tread mill compared to the outside or the track at my old club which I really miss. But I survived both that and the 5 day pouch test. I did have a little spagetti on Friday night to have some more carbs just to give me the energy to finish which I'm glad I did. Not I am just eating proteins and now adding carbs in the form of Fruits and Vegi's and lean proteins until I get back to my goal. I guess I am looking at this as what things I should eat after going to solids after pureed foods like I did right after I had surgery. Hopefully I can stay away from the crap for the next month or two. Wish me luck.

WHAT AN ACCOMPLISHMENT!!!!! Congrats! You can't be so hard on yourself for having speggetti ~that was needed for extra energy to run!!! I am sure you'll stay on track and do just great!

I'm not perfect but I am going to die trying!!!
I bow to you! That's fantastic!!! I would love to be able to do a 5K. It's my goal actually. I also am thinking of doing the breast cancer 3-Day in 2009. I did it in 2004 and it was so much fun; but really tough due to my weight. I think now I'll be able to do it so much easier. So............. off to the gym.
Way to go on eating healthy, too!
