Hello from RAINY San Diego!

It may be raining but I am filled with sunshine (corny I know) because I am on my way! We are here in San Diego Sunday AM.  The plane from MN was 1 hour delayed so finally got off the ground around 5:30 PM. The flight was mostly fine until I realized we were flying over the ocean. That freaked me out. I just kept thinking of "shark bait." I was relieved when the plane turned around and heaed back toward land. We were low enough to see the waves splashing which was really cool. I love the ocean, just don't want to fly over it without  drugs!

We are staying at the Comfort Inn airport old towne. The hotel is very comfortable and DS and I slept well. Woke in time to eat breakfast and finish by 7 AM because I am NPO at that time except for water for pre op testing this afternoon in Mexicali.  

Dr. Aceves's driver will pick up DS and I as well as another patient at 11AM to take us to Alamater Hospital. Either I or my sweet baby sister angel (lisajoy) will post later.
