Sue, You seem to be the type of person that won't give up!  I'm confident that you will make it through your next placement just fine.  The only reason you should feel like a "butt" is if you don't use this whole experience as a learning tool to further yourself in the future.  Remember the only true way you can fail is if you never tried!
