kind of frustrating

I weighed myself yesterday after almost 1 1/2 weeks since I didn't get to the gym until yesterday (but I was working out at home) and I had only lost 1 pound.  I was devastated, but then remembered that sometimes we lose inches rather than pounds and that I will just keep working my tool, but man was I bummed that I had only lost 1 pound.  I hope next week brings a lower number...and I plan to increase my workout intensities (last night I ran for 3 1 minute segments on the treadmill)!

Nicole

About 3 weeks out for me I didn't lose anything for two weeks, I did find out though that I'd lost a couple of inches off my waist, hips bust and thighs. I weigh on Friday's and didn't lose anythign this week either, but I'm following the plan religiously, working out everyday and getting in my water and protein so I know I must be losing inches again. It seems we get one or the other soemtimes but you'll start losing pounds again in a few days. Dont get discouraged.

Keep your chin up Nicole - you ARE losing inches - I'm living proof - I've only lost 10 lbs since September, but just managed to squeeze my butt into the next size down!   AND Congratulations on the running - that's fabulous - another GREAT accomplishment that you couldn't do pre-WLS!  Keep up the great work!

Hang in there sweetie. You are doing great. Sometimes I just want to throw my scale away but I'm soo addicted to it. And before you know it a few days go by and wham-o it's a few lbs lighter.

One thing to keep in mind is your heart rate level should always stay between 109-129  when working out this is the optimal area that just burns fat.  If you go higher than that it will burn fat at a lower rate but help your cardio. Just some helpful hints Troy

You are doing great! Measure your bicep, neck, waist, hips, and thigh. Believe me, I had many times when the scale didn't move and measurements saved me from getting too upset!
