If you pray (or other), please join with me and pray for the full recovery of Baby Maverick, who was severely burned in a recent fire at Mercy Hospital a few days ago, when he was just 12 hours old. His Dad was on KTIS this morning and my heart just aches for these people. Being a mom, I cannot even imagine how traumatic this event has been for the entire family or that precious little newborn. Dear Lord, please we lift up our prayers to you today, that you would be with baby Maverick in his time of great need and healing and to be with his family, to ease their hearts and that they all feel your presence Lord. You have already worked healing miracles Lord and we know that by your Son's stripes, this precious baby will be healed 100% so that he may live the life you have planned for him. Thank you Lord! Amen.

I cannot even fathom the shock that the family is going through.  You sure don't think something like would happen in a hospital. Thanks for leading the beautiful prayer, Amy. May God bless the whole family. (((HUG))) **SUE**

Amy, you are such an angel.  I have been praying for this precious little babe and the parents & family ever since the news broke.  But every time I have headed towards participating in a conversation about it, I break down and cry.  Hell, I'm crying right now.  I can not even imagine.  And to be honest, I pray for the nurses and staff that were working in that nursery when it happened, too.  They must be suffering a hurt unlike anything they've ever had to deal with in their careers!  I don't think this is anything that can be blamed on a person, it was a tragic malfunction of some equipment.  I only hope that when a lawsuit is filed, and I have no doubt there will be one, that those companies that might be in any way responsible for the faulty equipment don't fight it.   But mostly, I pray that the little baby survives, and not be horribly scarred as a result of this.  What a traumatic way to start life....
