I could NOT fall asleep...it was so strange.  I fall asleep in five minutes or less at home.  I was still wide awake at one in the morning.

At 4:00 I was finally asleep and  did have some apnea's when I was in my "REM" sleep.  So, looks
like I will be getting a machine and now I know why I am always so tired!

I had the study done at the Northfield Hospital.  It was a very nice room and  the technician was great!

Hope to see many of you tomorrow morning at the Eagan coffee!!!! Thanks for all the well wishes!  You are all so amazing!

Cool, I'm happy they found that out and you can get some relief.  Just wish I could give you mine because I don't need it anymore.  (Can't though...it's considered a prescription) See you at coffee!

They gave me an ambien to help me sleep when they realized I wasn't going to on my own.  The stuff in your hair is awful.  But Tracy is right...YAY a comorbidity!!!  Congrats to you! Happy sleeping...

The same thing happened to me!!!! I think that knowing you are being "watched" doesn't help it, LOL....I had mild sleep apnea!!!!  They said I stopped breathing 12 times an hour!!  I didn't fall asleep until 4 am and by then I had a horrible headache and they even picked this up on there tests that I was in pain of some sort!! LOL  They asked me if I had chronic pain, NO its the pillows YOU gave me to use!!!! LOL I used the diagnostic machine for a month and then declined to get the other as I was about to head into surgery, but mine was mild and I am pretty sure I do not have this anymore!! WOOHOO Congrats!! Its Over!!

I bet you are glad that is over. I was miserable during mine, the tape on my face itched, I felt like I couldn't move and I hated the sleep number bed! I couldn't fall asleep either. They never had to put the CPAP on so I hope that means I may not need it? I meet w/ the doctor in a few weeks to go aver the results. YAY to you for having one more thing checked off the list!
